La Gironda (ASTI)
Susanna and Alberto, having spent 20 years in the business of wine making equipment decided to go the whole way by buying and equipping their own winery and vineyards close to the commune of Nizza Monferrato in the province of Asti. Unsurprisingly, all grape husbandry, handling and winemaking processes are undertaken to the highest possible standards and you really have to visit the place to believe the effort applied. Oenologist Giuliano Noè - Winemaker of the Year 2005 - Gambero Rosso Slow Food Wine Guide - and agronomist Piero Roseo ensure that everything starts correctly in the vineyards which begin immediately outside the cellar door. On top of everything, SUSANNA and ALBERTO really are the nicest people you could hope to meet.
