Cantine Ciolli (ROMA)
Young producer DAMIANO CIOLLI took over the well established and scrupulously maintained 6 hectares on southern slopes, immediately under the commune of Olevano Romano in the province of Rome, only in 2001. And at his first attempt he received the accolade ‘Grand Mention’ at the prestigous Italian wine event VinItaly Verona 2003 for his Cesanese based Cirsium. Five generations of winemaking ancestors and the advice of oenologist Dr.Guildo Basatto show in the result.
