With a vision to produce wines encapsulating the best traditions of the Alto Adige Region, ANDREAS BERGER operates a very small winery producing only 20,000 bottles per annum. The growing number of UK fans of indigenous Alto Adige grape varieties will be delighted to see St. Magdalener and Lagrein Scuro offered for the first time. Due to the particular soil and ultra low yields in the vineyards, these wines can be kept in cellar for longer than average. Independent ratings are high and we are delighted to be introducing them to UK for the very first time - October 2005
