San Lorenzo in Scanno (FORLI)
The Burioli family's winery is located in the ancient and historic commune of Longiano. Here, they make the traditional wines of the area from red Sangiovese and white Trebbiano. Less widely known but in fact the very first DOCG white wine in Italy, Albana di Romagna is a traditional semisweet white which will appeal to those who 'don't like sweet wines'. There is also Chardonnay of the sort which is likely to turn your opinion of Chardonnay on its head!
Smart labels, excellent wines.
