Refosco dal Pedunculo

Literally, 'Refosco with the red stalks', native to Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Wines are often dark & spicy with strong black fruit or plum notes and a slightly bitter finish. Sometimes blended with Cabernet and Merlot to emphasise nuances.
