Bea (PERUGIA)
According to archives held in Montefalco in the province of Perugia, yet another beautiful Umbrian hilltop town in the province of Perugia, the Bea family lived around here as early as the 1500s. This small estate, only 5 hectares of which is dedicated to vines, is a classic family fattoria, virtually self supporting in good and healthy farm produce. Cultivation of all their produce is virtually organic, resulting from Sig. Bea’s conscious efforts to understand and protect the land and the fruits it provided; then, now and for tomorrow, avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals and unproven, uncontrolled technologies. More than a philosophy, this respect for nature represents a living and constant presence for the family, ensuring that Bea products reflect their world in its purest form.
