Cadibon (UDINE)
In Friulian dialect, Ca’ di Bon means 'here, on the Bon estate,' the soils are lean and mean providing ideal conditions for grapevines on these hills at the eastern edge of Friuli, about as far east as it’s possible to go and still be in Italy. AMERIS and GIANNI BON and family manage the 10 hectares of vineyards lavishing every effort and considered innovative technique to achieve (mainly) single variety wines of the utmost personality and clarity. They are outstanding even in this zone, renowned as it is for some of the freshest and fruitiest white wines in the whole of Italy. White wines are not the whole story here though, because the estate extends over 3 adjacent DOC areas and several distinctive reds are produced.
