Made from Barbera grapes in purezza, this is the estate’s most valued wine obtained from the best vineyard. 'Black Label' accounted for a tiny percentage of the 2001 harvest, matured in small oak casks. ‘Schiavino’ was the estate’s first wine, made from vines grown on the Schiavino hill, family property since about 1700.
