This wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrique followed by 6 months in stainless steel before bottling. Teroldego ages well from good vintages such as this 2000. Ideal drinking now.
Aroma indicates a discreet spell in barrique with plenty of ripe fruit, especially blackberry and raspberry. Taste reveals a mere hint of oak with almonds and spices. Intense black fruit flavour
