Single vineyard gathered from the Fornetto situated near Brusnengo, province of Biella.

Nose is inky with plum and lots of spices, especially freshly ground black pepper. Taste continues the plum character and introduces blackcurrant fruit gums. Chewy tannins indicate continuing ageing ability but beginning to come into its own now.

Deep ruby red, full bodied matured, Nebbiolo 70% with Croatina and Uva Rara, ABV 13.5%, serve 18 to 20^oC
