Obtained from vines at least 15 years old, refined in stainless steel for at least 8 months.
Legend says that in the middle of this terrain was a productive pear tree called Calabrigo. Each spring, the tree was full of beautiful blossom signalling the time for women to stop work in the fields. They returned in November to celebrate St Cecil, the beginning of the new year of work in the fields.
Donna Ines Zicari, owner of the winery, found this legend and decided to change the tree to a statue of St Cecil which she donated to Taranto cathedral. Each year on 22nd November, the statue heads a procession through the streets of the old town.
