Made from grapes grown on alluvial soils close to the Isarco River south of Bolzano, very late harvested - 20th to 25th October - fermented for a week at up to 35 deg. C then aged in 3rd and 4th usage oak barrels. The result is a lively, fruity wine with barely perceptible oak. 3,000 bottles only from the 2004 vendemmia

A fruit oriented wine with barely perceptible oak. Quite aromatic, dark red fruitiness, quite full on the palate, correctly tannic with a nice acidic vein. Best March 2006 onwards.

Very dark red, quite full bodied, lightly matured, Lagrein 100%, ABV 13%, serve 18 to 20^oC.
