Made from vines aged from 3 to 15 years grown on the Thurnhof estate, Guyot trained and over pergolas. Harvested around 10th October. After initial and malo-lactic fermentations, aged in 2nd usage small oak barrels for 15 months. 2000 bottles only from the 2002 vendemmia.

Intriguing perfume of spices and mature fruit, concentrated on the palate with ripe and sweet tannins and a 'tension' in the final expression. Will continue to evolve positively through 2006 into 2007

Very dark red, full bodied, matured, Lagrein 100%, ABV 13%, serve 18 to 20^oC
